DONGJU; The Portrait of A Poet
A biographical film based on the life and work of Korea’s renowned poet, Yun Dong-ju. Born in the era of Japanese occupation of Korea, Dong-ju and his cousin Mong-gyoo grow up like brothers under one roof. They both leave their chaotic mother country and study abroad in Japan. In Japan, Mong-gyoo gets deeply involved in Korean Independence Movement and Dong-ju keeps writing poems about the tragedy of his country.
